The children can have either milk or water at snack/meal times and water is available in all the classrooms throughout the day. We grow our own fruit and vegetables which include potatoes, carrots, raspberries and herbs. We have an apple tree and a very prolific plum tree. The children enjoy baking using our fruit and vegetables. Sometimes they even make their own dinner such as soup a vegetable pizza or a plum crumble.
We regard meals and snacks at Parkfield as an opportunity to interact socially and as such the children and staff all sit down together to eat
